ARTIST STATEMENT
I believe that creating art is one of the most exciting things a human can experience. The act of placing an image on paper or canvas is most personally rewarding.
Art leaves a legacy for all to view long after the artist has departed the earth. Art is a window into the mind and soul of it's maker. The impact is viewed and felt by both the artist and those who view the unique pieces of art.

LIFE EXPERIENCE
I took early retirement and decided to pursue my love for art. Most of my career involved design and art in the textile business. My interest in art was enlightened by my travels to many parts of the world. My art and use of color are heavily influenced by the cultures and countries that I have visited. I have been actively painting for nearly fouryears and truly love what I am doing. I have had some successes this past year and have won juried exhibits. I have also attended workshops with well known professionals. 2013 I will receive my Georgia Watercolor Society Signature
